Mequon, WI. D2 Sales, LLC of Mequon, WI announced today that it was awarded the KioskCom Excellence Award for Best Digital Signage Deployment. The award was presented to D2 for the Palm Treo 680 Times Square interactive installation.

The award was presented to D2 founder Sandra Nix at the KioskCom convention held annually in Las Vegas. "The KioskCom award is a special honor that is both professionally rewarding and personally exciting for the entire AKQA/Palm project team," said Nix. She added, "This award recognition is especially meaningful because it is awarded by our peers in the industry."

The winning entry was part of a larger national campaign that also included installations in Los Angeles and San Francisco to promote the launch of the new Palm 680.
