Burger King Kiosk



Burger King Corporation is charged with providing marketing and advertising in support of its 10,000 domestic and 3,000 international restaurants. Key to their marketing efforts is creating an environment for kids that builds loyalty to the Burger King brand. Kiosk of the Year award winner D2 created a design that added to existing décor, met ADA guidelines, and would be economical to deploy in large quantity. This new generation of kiosk was designed to meet those needs, plus the ultimate objective - to empower kids and build loyalty to the Burger King brand around the globe.

In addition to the overall design and color scheme, D2 looked at the nuances of how the kiosk would be used by kids, from their perspective. The screen is low (at a kid's eye level), there is no keyboard, and all games are played via touchscreen - easy to use, easy to clean.  This kiosk features the best technology has to offer - shrunk down to kid-sized. The unit works and feels like something just for kids – because it is.
