Yahoo! Interactive Lounge



In September 2003 retailer Marshall Field's and Yahoo! Inc. opened a Yahoo!-dedicated interactive lounge in the Chicago flagship store. The lounge is contemporary and inviting, providing a perfect backdrop for its computer kiosks and multi-media presentations.  Whether guests are Internet novices or experts, they are able to sample and experience some of Yahoo!'s hottest consumer product offerings. Marshal Field's is also using the interactive experience to sell Yahoo!-branded products including digital cameras, webcams, keyboards, speakers and branded apparel.

The lounge showcases café style "surf stations", plasma screens with streaming video and a host of interactive features that immerse customers in the Yahoo! brand.  In addition, monthly features and special events are held on site, such as a two-day video game tournament, Yahoo! photo promotions and more.
